Junior Web Developer

Salary: ₱21,000 – ₱25,000 per month

About the role

The Junior Web Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving company websites and e-commerce platforms. The role requires knowledge of various web development technologies, content management systems, and e-commerce tools to ensure website functionality, performance, security, and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update websites using WordPress and other web development technologies.

• Customize WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

• Build and modify website layouts using Elementor.

• Manage and maintain e-commerce websites using WooCommerce and Shopify.

• Update product listings, pricing, product descriptions, and other online store content.

• Assist in integrating and maintaining payment gateways, including PayMongo.

• Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, and technical issues.

• Ensure website responsiveness, compatibility across browsers, and optimal performance.

• Implement website enhancements based on business and user requirements.

• Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and basic security checks.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Knowledgeable in WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

• Familiarity with Elementor for website design and customization.

• Knowledge or experience in WooCommerce and Shopify for e-commerce website management.

• Basic understanding of website hosting, domain management, databases, and API integration.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.
