Junior Web Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Web Developer to join their expanding tech team in Bloemfontein . You will work closely with senior developers to build, test, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of websites and web applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code for frontend and/or backend development tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development processes.
• Help troubleshoot and debug issues, and implement solutions to ensure website functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Learn and apply new technologies and development techniques as required by project needs.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of HTML , CSS , and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one server‑side language (e.g., Python, PHP, Node.js) or frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Relevant degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrable skills.
