Join Our Team
At Simply Ed, we believe every NYC public school student deserves the attention, support, and encouragement they need to thrive, and so do you. As a Teacher’s Assistant working in Bronx public schools, you'll play a vital role in helping students strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and succeed in the classroom.
Our Teacher’s Assistants work alongside classroom teachers to provide targeted academic and instructional support to students across Grades K–12. Depending on your placement, you may work with elementary, middle, or high school students, supporting subjects such as English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, or Social Studies.
Assignments may involve push-in classroom support, one-on-one assistance, or small-group instruction, depending on the needs of the school and its students. You'll help students understand challenging concepts, reinforce grade-level skills, and receive the individualized attention they need to make meaningful academic progress.
Because our placements span multiple grade levels and subject areas, we look for individuals who are confident in their academic strengths and comfortable supporting instruction within their areas of proficiency. Whether your strengths lie in elementary literacy and numeracy, middle school academics, or high school subject-specific instruction, we'll consider your experience, qualifications, and availability when identifying potential placements.
