Key Account Director

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients at department and division levels across Brand/Marketing, Retail, and Procurement functions.
  
• Build and operate a structured client servicing process for each project, including brief intake, contact reports within 24 hours, weekly WIP tracking, and quality-control checkpoints before any materials are submitted to clients.
  
• Lead the Account team by assigning responsibilities, conducting weekly one-on-one meetings, coaching new team members, and working with the HR team to recruit additional Account Managers and Project Managers when required.
  
• Develop 12-month account plans for each client and drive contract renewals, project extensions, and new scopes of work.
  
• Work closely with Project Managers to control third-party/vendor costs for each project, manage acceptance documentation, and monitor outstanding payments.
  
• Immediately escalate to the CEO any issues involving legal risk, information security, or reputational risk.
  

Requirements

• At least 8 years of account management experience in a creative agency or IMC environment, including a minimum of 3 years leading a team at Account Director level or equivalent.
  
• Proven experience directly managing at least one end-to-end campaign for a bank, card organization, e-wallet provider, or financial services company.
  
• Hands-on experience managing project budgets involving third-party/vendor costs and taking responsibility for project profit margins.
  
• Strong Vietnamese writing skills, with the ability to prepare professional documents for senior banking stakeholders. English proficiency should be sufficient to work effectively with international card organizations.
  
• High level of confidentiality and professional discretion. Candidates should be able to provide references from direct supervisors at their two most recent employers.
