As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and accountable Key Account Executive to strengthen our key account relationships and drive sustainable business growth.
About The Role
The Key Account Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end management and development of assigned key hospital accounts, with a focus on account growth, customer retention, contract renewals and operational excellence.
This role will build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across sleep laboratories, respiratory departments and hospital management, while ensuring a high level of service and smooth coordination across commercial, operational and clinical requirements.
What You'll Do
Key Account Management & Development
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key hospitals and sleep centres within the SingHealth cluster.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clinicians, sleep technicians, respiratory therapists, procurement teams and hospital management.
- Drive account retention and sustainable revenue growth through proactive engagement and excellent service.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through appropriate upselling and cross-selling opportunities, including CPAP devices, masks, consumables and service contracts.
- Develop a strong understanding of each account's needs, challenges and future requirements.
Contract Renewal & Commercial Management
- Manage service agreements, rental programmes and supply contracts for assigned key accounts.
- Proactively plan and manage contract renewals, pricing discussions and volume negotiations.
- Monitor contract timelines and ensure timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal commercial, operational and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with internal Finance, Operations and other relevant teams on contractual matters where required.
- Support commercial activities, including onsite CPAP device sales, after-sales coordination and follow-up on outstanding orders and documentation.
Sales Performance & Account Growth
- Take ownership of sales performance, revenue and profitability for assigned key accounts.
- Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual performance against agreed targets.
- Prepare account forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports.
- Analyse account performance to identify growth opportunities, trends and potential risks.
- Develop and implement account plans to support long-term revenue growth and customer retention.
Operations & Service Coordination
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries, installations and replacements of sleep diagnostic and CPAP equipment for assigned accounts.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operational support, including device availability, consumables supply and service turnaround.
- Work closely with Operations, Logistics and Service teams to ensure customer requirements and service expectations are met.
- Anticipate and address operational challenges to minimise disruption to hospital operations and patient care.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational, technical or service-related issues within assigned accounts.
- Coordinate with relevant technical, clinical and service teams to ensure issues are resolved effectively and promptly.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of customer complaints and service matters.
- Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the resolution process to ensure a positive customer experience.
Clinical Support & Customer Engagement
- Conduct department engagements, product updates and therapy education sessions for sleep laboratories, respiratory departments and nursing teams.
- Provide basic product and therapy workflow support to customers within the scope of the role.
- Support customers with product knowledge and patient compliance insights where appropriate.
- Work closely with Clinical Application Specialists or relevant internal teams for complex clinical cases and advanced product training.
Stakeholder & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams across Sales, Sales Support, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Marketing and Service.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to support improvements in products, services and business processes.
- Maintain accurate account information, commercial records and relevant customer documentation.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Device Sales, Key Account Management, Clinical Applications or a relevant commercial role.
- Experience managing hospital or healthcare accounts will be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage sales performance, contracts and account growth.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Highly organised, accountable and able to manage both commercial and operational responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing contracts, sales figures and account documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with experience using CRM or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of CPAP therapy, sleep diagnostics or respiratory care will be an advantage.
- Valid Singapore Class 3A Driving Licence is required.
