Key Account Manager

About the client:

Our client are wholesaler/distributor of electrical and electronic consumer products focus on household electrical appliances, consumer electronics and related goods.

They are seeking a Key Account Manager to join the team to based in Shah Alam.

Job Scope:

• Manage end-to-end import purchasing processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, purchase order management, and supplier relationship management.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with domestic and international suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings.
• Manage supplier performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to maintain service quality standards.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term, trusting partnerships with high-value clients.
• Primary Contact: Act as the main link between key clients and internal teams like sales, marketing, and product support.
• Sales Growth: Identify and pursue up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
• Problem Solving: Resolve client complaints and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Strategic Planning: Create custom account plans, track key metrics, and forecast sales progress.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control systems.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
