The Opportunity
You will act as a strategic partner to customers, while identifying opportunities to deepen engagement and grow revenue. You will work closely with key stakeholders across commercial, legal, and operational functions within construction businesses, using a consultative approach to align solutions to real-world challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving commercial expansion across a portfolio of key accounts
- Proactively engage customers through structured touchpoints, reviews, and value-driven conversations
- Create and execute detailed account plans aligned to revenue and growth targets
- Identify and capitalise on upsell and cross-sell opportunities across multiple service lines
- Take a consultative approach—understanding client challenges and aligning solutions to support their commercial and operational objectives
- Drive renewal processes and achieve or exceed targets for retention and account growth
- Build a strong understanding of the product suite to confidently handle the majority of non-technical discussions
- Proactively self-generate opportunities by accurately mapping out the client account
- Collaborate internally with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
About You
- 5+ years in a commercially focused Account Management or B2B sales role
- Strong experience within the construction sector, ideally from a Main Contractor or ConTech environment
- Proven experience using a consultative, solution-led sales approach (SaaS or technology exposure advantageous but not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of retaining and growing accounts
- Excellent communication skills, including virtual presentations and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to build credibility quickly and operate confidently with senior decision-makers
- Highly motivated, proactive, and keen to contribute to a high-growth business environment
- Ambitious and looking to develop within a scaling organisation
