Key user electrical CAD F/M/X
Location: Huttenheim, Grand Est, France; Hybrid
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be the primary user of the key design tools used in the development of new power converters and industrial products for their electrical components. You will collaborate with other international development teams (mechanical, power electronics, firmware, laboratory) as well as with other departments, including project managers, purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, quality, R&D, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Create electrical schematics and production documents, including wiring lists, using EPLAN and EPLAN Harness as part of design projects or product lifecycle management.
- Provide expert support in the use of electrical schematic management tools, wiring list definitions, and design tool configuration.
- Ensure that libraries related to the various design tools are kept up to date.
- Propose improvements to the development process and business processes within your scope of responsibility.
- Keep documentation related to these activities up to date and contribute to team training to capitalize on knowledge and feedback.
- Coordinate, with other Socomec entities, the harmonization of methods and the capitalization of knowledge (Italy, Tunisia, India, China, North America).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a drafter/designer or design engineer for electrical equipment.
- Proven proficiency in one or more electrical design software programs (SeeElectrical, Eplan, etc.).
- Fluency in English and French (minimum B2 level).
Additional skills that could make you even more unique:
- Experience with EPLAN P8, Cogineer, Propanel, and Harness.
- Knowledge of electronics, power electronics, and data management in an ERP system.
- Proficiency in IEC 81346-2 and IEC 60445 standards.
