Responsibilities

o Ensuring Maintenance at KFAA is carried out within the budgeted costs and

to schedule, reporting performance in support to the Contract Status

Review (CSR)

o Ensuring adequate resources and competent Authorised personnel are

available in sufficient quantities to meet the planned Base, Line and Component maintenance requirements and for deputising for the Senior Maintenance manager.

o Identifying budget forecasts and ensuring that these requirements are

identified.

o Supporting the elements of the Safety Management System and Quality

system at KFAA.

o The Post Holder will delegate specific authority, where appropriate, to their

direct reports or to other BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Core Programme

team members and wider BAE Systems Saudi Arabia functions.

Job Requirements\:

 A recognized qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical

discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification

acceptable to M&CA, OR Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent

technical license acceptable to M&CA, OR relevant degree in engineering discipline

 Have at least 10 years post qualification practical maintenance experience within

operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace

applied related training.

 Have at least 7 years’ experience in a relevant management role.

 Excellent leadership management skills and proven ability to supervise all

levels of engineering personnel.

 Extensive experience working knowledge of EASA Part 145.

 Business unit level awareness of circumstances outside the organisation.

 Military or civil aviation Form 4 holder.

 A demonstrable understanding of competence frameworks.

 Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures

 Broad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.

 Experienced – Certifying Technician and extensive BAE Systems supervisory

experience within the area of definition.
