Job Summary
The Kindergarten Care Programme Staff supports children’s holistic development by providing quality care and fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment in collaboration with the Kindergarten Care Centre Supervisor and team.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to kindergarten children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare and maintain a safe, clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment for children’s engagement
- Execute daily classroom routines including attendance taking, meal supervision, hygiene practices, rest periods, and transitions to support smooth operations
- Observe and document children’s developmental progress and communicate relevant feedback to the Centre Head for ongoing support
- Follow organisational policies, child safeguarding protocols, health and safety procedures, and regulatory standards consistently
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool or kindergarten-aged children
- Passion for supporting young children’s holistic development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and colleagues
- Ability to collaborate well within a team environment
- Physical capability to assist children with daily routines and classroom activities
- Organised, responsible, patient, and adaptable to a dynamic work setting
Certifications Required
- At least L1 trained
- SCCEC/ SCCEY/ACECCE/ Diploma in Early Childhood/ Higher Nitec in Early Childhood
