We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who can combine creativity with precision and thrive in a collaborative environment.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our marketing and eCommerce teams by creating engaging digital ads and high-performing email designs that stay true to Kion’s brand aesthetic.

More specifically, you will:

📱 Work directly with Kion’s Creative Director and the marketing and eCommerce teams to design digital ads across social platforms
📧 Translate creative briefs into high-performing email designs using clear visual hierarchy, mobile-first design, accessibility best practices, and conversion-focused layouts
🎨 Follow established brand standards while finding creative ways to bring visuals to life
🖼️ Translate complex scientific information into compelling, easy-to-understand visuals
🤝 Collaborate with the marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure campaigns align with brand goals

You’re organized, detail-oriented, and thorough. You take feedback gracefully and use it to improve and refine your work thoughtfully.

Working Hours: This is a part-time role (20–25 hours per week) requiring 3–5 hours of overlap with CST or MST each week.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, you need:

✅ 4+ years of professional design experience (agency or studio experience)

✅ Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
✅ Experience designing marketing emails in Klaviyo or another email service provider (ESP)
✅ Strong understanding of mobile-first email design, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and conversion-focused layouts
✅ Ability to transform complex scientific information into engaging visual communication

Brownie points:

⭐ Experience with Shopify page-building tools; Shogun experience is a plus
⭐ Animation
⭐ Web/digital design
⭐ Basic video editing
