About the role

For a restaurant in Vilassar de Mar, we are looking for a Kitchen Assistant. The functions to be performed are as follows:

What you'll do

- Prepare ingredients (cutting, peeling, portioning, and organizing food before service).

- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, utensils, and work surfaces.

- Support the cook in the basic preparation of dishes and in the assembly of preparations.

- Control and restock products necessary for daily service.

- Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations during all tasks.

- Among other functions typical of the job position.

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a kitchen assistant.
• We are looking for a proactive and responsible person.
• Proximity to the workplace will be valued.
• A culinary course is valued.
• A vehicle is required for travel.

Education & certifications

• Completed secondary education.
• Studies related to cooking.

Languages

• Spanish: advanced.
• Catalan: advanced.
