As a Kitchen Assistant, your mission will be to support the kitchen team, following the chef's instructions and preparing food according to HIPOTELS standards.

What you'll do

• Strictly comply with safety, hygiene, and health regulations in the workplace
• Participate with some autonomy and responsibility in the food and beverage service
• Perform correct and professional service at all times
• Participate with some autonomy and responsibility in food preparation under supervision
• Clean utensils and store them in their designated place
• Perform basic preparations (cleaning, peeling, cutting, weighing food), as well as any other tasks related to culinary preparations that are assigned to you
• Collaborate in the setup and breakdown of the buffet
• Place products in the corresponding storage areas
• Collaborate with the cook in the preparation of meals for the Hotel staff
• Prepare dishes for which you have received appropriate training
• Keep the buffet area clean and organized

Requirements

You are the perfect candidate if...

• You have 2 years of experience in the same position
• We value knowledge of food hygiene and safety, as well as knowledge of culinary techniques
• You have accommodation in the Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote) area or surroundings
