Kitchen Assistant

We are on the lookout for a kitchen assistant to join our busy team, the role will involve the preparation and cooking of food menu items, as well as adhering to a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and cellar areas.

Position: Kitchen Assistant - Leeds Casino

Hours per week: 40

About you:

· Excellent customer service skills,

· Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality role or other relevant experience.

· Good understanding of kitchen operations.

· Knowledge of cleaning requirements.

· Full awareness and knowledge of food safety regulations.

· Strong understanding of allergens and procedures associated with allergens.

Duties including but not limited to:

· Ensure day to day responsibilities are being completed, such as cleaning requirements and reporting.

· Adhere to all policies and procedures.

· Follow all guidance and procedures in line with Licensing Act 2003.

· Following correct food preparation procedures.

· Assisting with stock takes and other duties.

· Maintaining strong cleaning practices in the kitchen area.

· Ensure customer service levels are met.

· To ensure that personal conduct is at all times of a manner that reflects favorably on the department and the company and that a presentable appearance is maintained at all times.

· To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.

· To ensure a good working environment is maintained in order to harbour good working relationships.

· To actively discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation or discrimination of any kind against employees, management or customers on the grounds of race, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
