Job Brief
The Kitchen Assistant will support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties while maintaining proper hygiene and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the chef.
Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces and work areas.
Ensure proper storage and handling of kitchen items.
Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain kitchen hygiene.
Assist with receiving and arranging kitchen supplies.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the chef or supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
Must be hardworking, reliable, and attentive to detail.
