Kitchen Manager Job Description
- Lead, train, and support the kitchen team to maintain strong performance and morale.
- Help develop staff through coaching, guidance, and daily leadership.
- Primarily, oversee breakfast operations and assist with night shifts when needed.
- Ensure all food is prepared with quality, consistency, and proper presentation.
- Work with Chef and management on menu ideas, specials, and cost-effective planning.
- Check food quality, ingredients, and finished dishes before service.
- Maintain all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, safe, and fully stocked.
- Make sure staff follow safety procedures and kitchen standards.
- Help control food cost by reducing waste, proper portioning, and smart ordering.
- Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Handle kitchen issues, staff concerns, and service delays professionally.
- Work closely with the restaurant manager and Expo team to keep service efficient.
- Help plan and execute catering, buyouts, and special events when needed.
- Keep records for inventory, staff performance, and compliance when necessary.
