Klaviyo Email Strategist
Summary
Own Klaviyo email campaigns for ecommerce clients, running A/B tests, briefing creatives, and optimizing deliverability to boost revenue.
Remote · Russian-speaking team · Full-time
Mail Wizards is an email marketing agency working with ecommerce brands — mostly DTC and dropshipping, $100k–$1M/month, primarily US. Around 40 clients. We're looking for a Klaviyo Email Strategist to take full ownership of client accounts and drive measurable results.
The role
You own results for 5–10 accounts. Your KPI is attributed revenue — how much money the account actually makes. You don't talk to clients (the Account Manager does) and you don't write copy or build designs (copywriters and designers do). You decide what gets built, why, and in what order, then make it happen.
Most of our accounts have a missing flow, a broken trigger, copy mistake, or a segment nobody has touched. Finding those is the job.
What you'll do
Manage Klaviyo accounts end-to-end for multiple ecommerce clients
Own the metrics: attributed revenue first, then open rate, click rate, conversion rate, submit rate
Build the monthly campaign calendar for each account
Run A/B tests and execute data-driven hypotheses
Brief and manage copywriters and designers
Maintain and improve deliverability — inbox placement, domain reputation, spam rate
Communicate directly with the agency founders
What we're looking for
Deep hands-on Klaviyo — flows, segmentation, deliverability, reporting
Looks at the mechanics first — flows, triggers, segments, deliverability — not just the emails themselves
Willingness to tell us we're wrong. Our best PM told us in her first interview that our email format was hurting deliverability. She was right, and that's why she got hired
DTC or ecommerce experience is needed. If you've only done B2B, tell us how you'd get up to speed
Russian for the team, English for the accounts
If you're strong on another platform — Omnisend, Mailerlite, Brevo, ActiveCampaign — and you learn fast, apply anyway and tell us how you learn. We've hired that way and it worked better than hiring for the platform.
What we offer
Competitive pay
All tools and subscriptions provided
$2,000/year learning & development budget
Direct work with C-level
Real growth speed — our current AM lead started as a junior three months ago
Don't apply if you need detailed instructions to start, or would rather be told what to do than decide it.
