Role Overview

We are looking for a Kong API Gateway Engineer with 610 years of IT experience and a valid Kong certification. The candidate should have hands-on experience in API Gateway implementation, configuration, management, security and integration with microservices-based applications.

Must-Have Skills

• 6–10 years of overall IT industry experience.
• Valid and verifiable Kong certification (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway implementation and administration.
• Strong understanding of API Management and RESTful APIs.
• Experience configuring Kong Services, Routes, Consumers and Plugins.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Experience with API routing, rate limiting, load balancing and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API integrations.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Kong Konnect and Kong Enterprise.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with API monitoring, logging and observability tools.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC.
  

Certification Requirement

Candidates must possess a valid, verifiable Kong certification. Certification details or digital credentials must be shared during profile submission.

Additional Details

Candidates can be based anywhere in India.
Immediate to 30-day joiners preferred, subject to availability.
Candidates must demonstrate practical, hands-on Kong experience.
