Resumo / Visão geral:

The role focuses on building, configuring and operating Kubernetes clusters through Git and GitOps practices. You will manage platform deployments, troubleshoot incidents, support infrastructure changes and help ensure the availability, security and compliance of the environment.

The first two or three months will be fully on-site in Porto for onboarding. After this period, the expected working model is three days on-site and two days remote.

Responsabilidades e Tarefas da Função

• Build and configure Kubernetes clusters using Git and GitOps practices.
• Manage deployments using Helm, Artifactory and Argo CD or equivalent tools.
• Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot Kubernetes platforms.
• Investigate incidents and support production issues.
• Apply security, compliance and automation standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Information Security, project teams and technology vendors.
• Support storage, SAN and basic network connectivity activities where required.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, currently expected to represent approximately one week every four weeks.
  

Requisitos Obrigatórios

• At least 3 years of proven hands-on Kubernetes experience, with 5 or more years considered an advantage.
• Practical experience building, administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong experience with Git and GitOps practices.
• Experience with Helm, Artifactory and Argo CD or equivalent deployment tools.
• Good Linux administration experience.
• Experience with Docker and containerised workloads.
• Understanding of basic networking and infrastructure services.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and production incident resolution.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• OpenShift experience is a strong advantage but is not mandatory.
