KYC Client Facing Analyst
Summary
Review KYC exceptions for retail, corporate, and institutional accounts, communicate with clients via chat/email, and ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations.
You will review exceptions for retail, corporate, and institutional customer accounts, communicate with clients and relevant internal and external parties through web chat and email, complete KYC reviews, identify risks and process gaps, create incidents, escalate system and process issues, perform quality checks, provide feedback, and support training and onboarding for colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Identify exceptions in retail and institutional account-opening processes
- Act as the single point of contact for stakeholder inquiries
- Provide training to new joiners and support them as a buddy
- Provide process training to stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements
- Own relevant procedural updates
- Create incidents and escalate system and process issues
- Keep management informed
- Meet targets, KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and quality standards
- Perform timely quality check analysis
- Provide feedback
- Work with internal and external audit teams
- Identify potential risks and process gaps
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience performing AML/KYC activities in the financial services industry
- Understanding of end-to-end KYC and client onboarding processes
- Strong operational, compliance, business, and reputational risk awareness
- Experience onboarding different client types
- Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines
- Understanding of sourcing information from various data sources
- Fluency in English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to cope under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
