L1.5 Network Engineer (Routing & Switching)_Contract

Experience: 2-5 Years
Location: Singapore

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and perform Level 1.5 support.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and routing protocols.
• Execute network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams and vendors.
• Maintain network documentation and operational reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in network operations/support.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Huawei, or HPE networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or ManageEngine.

Preferred

• CCNA certification.
• Exposure to SD-WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, or Cloud Networking.
