Basic understanding of Java applications, logs, APIs, web services, application servers, and common runtime issues.
• Basic understanding of .NET applications, IIS, Windows services, application logs, and configuration-related checks.
• Basic understanding of Mainframe concepts such as COBOL, JCL, batch jobs, job abends, datasets, DB2, CICS, or equivalent legacy application environments.
• Good knowledge of incident management, service request handling, escalation procedures, shift handover, and SLA-based support.
• Ability to perform log review, error validation, health checks, restart monitoring, and basic troubleshooting using documented steps.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing tools, email/Teams communication, and production support dashboards.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including morning, afternoon, night shifts, weekends, or holidays as per project requirements.
1–3 years of experience in application support, service desk, production support, or IT operations.
• Exposure to AMS, managed services, insurance, banking, financial services, or enterprise application support environments will be preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge of ITIL practices will be an added advantage.
