Description
Role & responsibilities
Minimum 3+ years experience within a SOC, cyber security operations, infrastructure, cloud,
or technical support environment
• Strong understanding of computer networks, operating systems, security principles, and
common attack techniques
• Relevant security or technical certifications, or demonstrable equivalent experience, such
as Security+, BTL1, SC-200, Network+, CCNA, or similar
• Practical exposure to Microsoft Sentinel Security Information and Event Management (SIEM),
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and security monitoring technologies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR or comparable detection and response
platforms
• Ability to read, interpret, and adapt scripts or queries using PowerShell, Python, Bash, KQL,
or similar languages
• Understanding of cloud environments and associated security concepts across platforms
such as Azure, AWS, or similar
