L2 Application Support Engineer
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱55,000 per month
Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Shift: Dayshift
Setup: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work weekly
Job Summary
We are seeking an L2 Application Support Engineer responsible for providing second-level technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring system stability, optimal performance, and timely incident resolution within agreed service levels. The successful candidate will take ownership of application incidents from investigation through resolution, perform root cause analysis (RCA), implement approved configuration changes, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced production support environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar technical support role.
Experience in Agile environment.
Experience with application programming and development.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts, including query execution and data analysis.
With ITSM tools experience such as ServiceNow, Jira, HDA, or similar platforms.
Proven experience in incident investigation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within SLA targets.
Experience with application log analysis, monitoring tools, and system health monitoring.
Demonstrated ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and document findings effectively.
Strong understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and SDLC processes.
Experience with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.
Exposure to application deployment validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-release support activities.
