Data Center Deployment Technician

TEKsystems is seeking a Data Center Deployment Technician to support the installation and deployment of network and data center infrastructure. This role involves structured cabling, rack and stack activities, hardware installations, testing, documentation, and supporting large-scale deployment projects in a fast-paced data center environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, route, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber cabling.
• Perform rack and stack, hardware mounting, and cable management.
• Support equipment staging, asset tracking, and deployment activities.
• Maintain installation quality, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and escalate as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in low voltage, structured cabling, telecom, security installation, hardware deployment, or data center environments.
• Experience with fiber and copper cabling installations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barstow, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
