L2/L3 Infrastructure Support Analyst (AWS)

Job:

• Support and maintain our IT infrastructure on AWS.

• Be the go-to person for system health, performance, security, and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure and EAI platforms.

• Work closely with project teams, security, and operations to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable for both internal and external data exchanges.

Role:

• Provide technical support and maintenance of IT infrastructure.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues.

• Implement system upgrades and enhancements.

• Support data exchanges within intranet and with external entities.

• Manage escalation processes and perform service recovery for incidents that directly impact services or users.

• Conduct internal security reviews and assist in internal and external audits.

• Support user projects involving infrastructure acquisitions and evaluations.

• Review infrastructure and database capacity, forecast capacity needs for growth, new projects, and obsolescence.

• Upgrade systems in a timely manner.

• Ensure infrastructure and database servers and network systems are adequately secured with necessary security tools and monitoring in place.

• Assist in the planning, review and testing of the IT Disaster Recovery Plan.

• Continually identify technological advancements or new processes to improve robustness, performance, or resilience of operations and services.

• Adhere to internal processes, procedures and policies for quality output, security, and controls.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure maintenance.

• At least 3 years of working experience in managing or maintaining Microsoft Windows and/or Red Hat/Linux Server in a Cloud environment.

• Strong understanding of security practices in server, database, and network.

• Good communication, project management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated, dedicated, committed and results-oriented team player with strong initiative, ownership, and good inter-personal skills.

• Integration Development: AWS Lambda

• Database and Server Infrastructure: AWS Compute (EC2, Fargate), AWS RDS (RDS, Aurora), AWS DynamoDB

• Network Infrastructure: AWS VPC (Subnet, NACL, Security Group, Route Table, Transit Gateway), AWS Firewall (Network Firewall, WAF), AWS Route53, AWS ELB.

• Data Management and Middleware: JAMS Scheduler, Keycloak / RedHat SSO

• CI/CD: GitLab Enterprise, Binary and Build Artifact repository, Build Pipeline, DAST tools, GIT Source Code Repository, Release management, Software Composition analysis, SAST tools.

• Environments/Systems: Linux, Open System Environment, Red Hat Linux, Windows.

• Operating Systems: Linux, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server

• Platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes.

• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL

• Programming Languages: Bash/Shell, Python, PowerShell, HCL (Terraform)

• Technologies: AWS EKS, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon QuickSight, AWS IAM, AWS Step Function.

• Tools: Ansible, Terraform / OpenTofu, SFTP / OpenSSH, AWS CLI, JMeter / SOAPUI / Postman.
