L2 - Network & Security Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco and Aruba switches and routers to ensure reliable network connectivity and optimal performance.
• Implement and manage VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), OSPF, and BGP routing protocols to support network segmentation, redundancy, and efficient traffic routing.
• Configure, administer, and monitor Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint and SonicWall firewalls, along with SD-WAN solutions, to ensure secure and optimized network communication.
• Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), VPN connectivity, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Network Address Translation (NAT) policies to strengthen network security and access control.
• Utilize SolarWinds and Spectrum monitoring tools to track network performance, identify issues proactively, generate reports, and support incident resolution.
