L2a & L2b - Support and Systems Technician & Microcomputing Technician

What you'll do

Comprehensive support and systems administration in Windows, Linux, and Mac.

Management of wave-based operating system migrations, coexisting with laboratory workstations running Windows XP and Windows 7.

Maintenance of local servers and virtual servers in the CSIC private cloud.

Administration of campus network electronics (switches, fiber, and structured cabling) and IP telephony.

Operational maintenance of the intranet and the four institute websites (CMS in PHP and MySQL).

Requirements

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF...:

Based in Madrid.

You possess +3 years of professional experience in the role.

Experience in comprehensive support and systems administration in Windows, Linux, and Mac—all three.

Education: Official CFGS degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications.

Autonomy and ease in dealing with researchers.

Providing a prior ENS certificate is valued, but not mandatory, as training will be provided after joining.
