L3 Network Security Engineer

Summary

L3 Network Security Engineer supporting Cisco EVPN-VXLAN Data Center projects—configuring Nexus switches/NDFC/NDI, troubleshooting, migrating legacy networks, and automating with Python/Ansible.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Cisco EVPN-VXLAN Data Center project.
  • Implementation and managing Data Center networks using Cisco Nexus switches, NDFC, and NDI.
  • Configure and support EVPN-VXLAN networks using Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
  • Provide configuration and troubleshooting support for Data Center networks to ensure high availability.
  • Assist in migrating traditional legacy networks to modern EVPN-VXLAN fabric networks.
  • Resolve complex network problems, identified root causes, and tracked issues to resolution.
  • Execute network changes using standard MOP and CR processes to minimize impact on critical services.
  • Create and update technical documents, network diagrams, LLDs, and operational guides.
  • Prepare migration documentation, LLD, and technical runbooks.
  • Support network equipment firmware and software patching to upgrade to new versions.

Requirement:

  • Experience in supporting Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Infoblox, F5 is a must
  • Skillset in Automation, Python, Ansible
  • CCIE certified
