L3 Network Security Engineer
Summary
L3 Network Security Engineer supporting Cisco EVPN-VXLAN Data Center projects—configuring Nexus switches/NDFC/NDI, troubleshooting, migrating legacy networks, and automating with Python/Ansible.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of Cisco EVPN-VXLAN Data Center project.
- Implementation and managing Data Center networks using Cisco Nexus switches, NDFC, and NDI.
- Configure and support EVPN-VXLAN networks using Cisco Nexus Dashboard.
- Provide configuration and troubleshooting support for Data Center networks to ensure high availability.
- Assist in migrating traditional legacy networks to modern EVPN-VXLAN fabric networks.
- Resolve complex network problems, identified root causes, and tracked issues to resolution.
- Execute network changes using standard MOP and CR processes to minimize impact on critical services.
- Create and update technical documents, network diagrams, LLDs, and operational guides.
- Prepare migration documentation, LLD, and technical runbooks.
- Support network equipment firmware and software patching to upgrade to new versions.
Requirement:
- Experience in supporting Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Infoblox, F5 is a must
- Skillset in Automation, Python, Ansible
- CCIE certified
