We’re searching for a motivated Lab Analyst to join our 2nd shift laboratory team in Reading, PA.
In this role, you’ll support critical testing through sample preparation and documentation within the LIMS, work hands-on with analytical instrumentation, contribute to quality and compliance initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized lab environment. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen technical expertise and directly contribute to reliable, high-quality results that support essential laboratory operations.
Please note: This position follows a 2nd shift schedule Monday - Friday from 2 PM - 10:30 PM EST with a monthly Sunday rotation.
What You’ll Do
- Perform sample preparation and analysis of environmental samples following established test methods and procedures
- Accurately enter, review, and maintain sample preparation data within LIMS
- Perform routine quality control activities associated with sample preparation processes
- Follow SOPs, QA/QC standards, safety protocols, and chain-of-custody procedures
- Support lab workflow, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with laboratory team members to meet sample throughput and turnaround time objectives
- Assist with housekeeping, glassware cleaning, and inventory management activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
