Description: The role of the Lab Processor enters orders for Quest and to be a backup to client services and the lab manager.
- Prepare and aliquot incoming samples for reference lab testing.
- Stock supply bins.
- Troubleshoot Medical Assistant and Provider questions, escalate to lab manager when appropriate.
- Order entry for Quest Diagnostic samples.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces.
- Monitor supply usage and inform lab manager if low on inventory.
- Identify errors and communicate to lab manager for review.
- Backup to client services and lab manager for incoming calls – direct calls to necessary parties.
