Lab Technician

Position Overview

ALTIVIA Petrochemicals, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Haverhill, OH facility. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the chemical plant operations by performing routine and specialized laboratory tests to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Record, analyze, and report data accurately and timely to support production and quality control teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting process issues by providing timely laboratory data and insights.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician in a chemical plant or related industrial environment is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, chemical analysis, and instrumentation.
• Ability to interpret technical data and maintain detailed records.
• Proficient in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
