Labor Foreman

Overview

The Labor Foreman performs basic installation of materials on a construction site.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans - Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew - Allocate general and daily responsibilities - Supervise and train workers - Ensure manpower and resources are adequate - Ensure that all safety precautions and quality standards are met - Resolve problems when they arise - Report on progress to Superintendent

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - High school diploma or GED - 2+ years of construction experience - Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures - Ability to read construction drawings - Excellent organizational and leadership skills - Ability to communicate and report effectively - Strong problem solving skills - Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations - Ability to work in a team environment - OSHA 10 hour certified ( will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary) Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. The pay ranges from $27.56- $34.50 plus benefits and retirement program.
