What is this career opportunity?

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Labor Relations and Office Support Coordinator to join our State Office of Labor Relations team. The State Office of Labor Relations within the State Human Resources Division, provides services on behalf of all executive branch agencies. As the Governor’s designated representatives in collective bargaining, office members\:

• Negotiate the biennial pay package for state employees;

• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements for each of the state's bargaining units;
• Assist agencies administering those agreements; and
• Represent state government in administrative hearings and labor arbitrations.

This position will support the Chief Labor Negotiator, Labor Attorney, and Senior Labor Negotiator by providing office support functions, including meeting management and preparation, office communications, and document and record management. This position also tracks and supports collective bargaining agreement negotiations. As time permits, this position will provide support functions to the State Human Resources Central HR team, including website maintenance and policy and resource formatting.
