Laboratory Scientist / Laboratory / Full Time Nights

Summary of Performance Expectations.

Performs variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests and procedures for use in diagnosis. Serves as clinical resource for trainees, MLTs, and postgraduate physicians.

Education and Credentials:

Required:

• Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) .
• MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent (AMT) must be completed within six months of employment date. Proficiency in all areas of the laboratory.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/Science
• MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent (AMT)

Required:

No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within three months of employment date.
