Laboratory Technician

About the role
At Empatif ETT, we are looking for a laboratory technician for an important company located in Olius that is dedicated to the manufacture and commercialization of natural wool felt and non-woven textiles.
What you'll do
- Evaluate the conformity of all produced items, as well as the acquired raw materials that are key to FYTISA's processes. Segregate and identify defective or non-conforming items, and report detected incidents.
- Maintain an optimal ratio of tests performed and provide information on the inspection status to the supply chain.
- Prepare quality control documentation: tests, certificates, etc.
- Support quality management and improvement in the plant, with suppliers and customers.
- Sampling (production / purchased product).
- Analysis of samples according to control ranges.
- Recording and interpretation of results.
- Release / quarantine of analyzed batches.
- Analysis of raw material certificates.
- Archiving of samples and certificates.
- Issuance of quality reports and certificates.
- Preparation and sending of samples (sales and/or quality).
What we're looking for
High School Diploma / Vocational Training II / Higher Module of training in the technical and/or industrial field: laboratory, textile, chemical, mechanical technician, etc.
IT: general office automation at a user level (operating systems, word processors, spreadsheets, basic image editing, database user, etc.).
Languages: fluent Spanish and Catalan, B1 English desirable.
