The client is a local laboratory specializing in geotechnical (soil & rock) testing to support construction design and verification.

Job Summary

You will perform geotechnical laboratory testing, prepare samples, analyze test data, maintain equipment, and support laboratory operations to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soil and rock samples following laboratory protocols to ensure accurate testing
• Perform geotechnical laboratory tests on soil and rock samples to support construction design verification
• Analyze test data and generate clear, accurate reports for project stakeholders
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory test apparatus and equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain a clean and organized work area by following housekeeping and safety protocols
• Adhere to all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe laboratory environment
• Assist management with assigned ad-hoc laboratory duties to support daily operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate computer proficiency to assist with data analysis and reporting tasks
