We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team in Skretting Aquaculture Innovation.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with other laboratory technicians and specialists and analyze various kinds of samples.

You will ensure accurate and trustworthy analytical results and participate in troubleshooting and improvements at the laboratory. The position is permanent and located in Stavanger.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for performing analyses according to established procedures

  • Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of analytical instruments.

  • Approve analytical data and use the laboratory information system (LIMS)

  • Identify and report non-conformities and improvements to comply with ISO 17025:2017 and HSE requriments

  • Take part in daily tasks in the laboratory


What you bring:

  • A laboratory certificate, or a BSc in analytical chemistry, biological chemistry, or a related field.

  • Experience in laboratory settings

  • Strong technical and computer skills.
