Laboratory Technician - Protein Analytics - Pharma
For our customer, an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern, we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory operations under general supervision
- Perform routine analyses (Protein Analytics) for product development and life-cycle management projects
- Conduct the sample management
- Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment, demonstrating a high degree of skill acquired through on-the-job experience
- Set up and operate special equipment with limited supervision, following manufacturer's instructions
- Work within current good scientific practice (GSP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab
- Research technical literature and evaluate experimental data and processes
- Aid and train less experienced employees when required
- Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (EFZ, Chemistry/ Biology) or Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry
- Laboratory experience in QC industrial, biomedical research or clinical labs
- Work experience with high sample throughput
- Experience with LIMS and ILM
- Good practical knowledge of the laboratory environment
- Fluent in German and English is a plus
