Laboratory Test Engineer
- Develop, execute, and manage test plans in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Evaluate product performance, analyze test results, and prepare accurate technical reports.
- Lead assigned testing projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of deliverables.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during test setup, execution, and reporting.
- Review customer samples and determine appropriate testing methods and procedures.
- Interpret and communicate relevant test standards, regulations, and product technologies.
- Design, build, modify, and optimize test setups to support evolving testing requirements.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory testing equipment.
- Train and mentor laboratory personnel on test procedures, equipment operation, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve equipment, processes, and testing methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in laboratory testing, product validation, quality assurance, or related engineering environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high levels of quality and customer service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience addressing complex testing requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and laboratory personnel.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or training junior laboratory staff.
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Innovative mindset with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience incorporating automation tools and technologies into testing processes is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
