Laboratory Testing Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine microbiological testing to ensure accurate and reliable results;
- Participate in the setup of the microbiology laboratory, including selection, installation, validation, and maintenance of instruments and equipment;
- Participate in the development, validation, and optimization of microbiological testing methods;
- Assist the laboratory in obtaining ISO 17025 accreditation and support CMA/CNAS-related certification work;
- Perform microbiological testing on consumer products and antimicrobial effectiveness testing (including but not limited to USP 51/61/62) in accordance with SOPs and relevant standards;
- Prepare test reports and ensure complete and standardized data records;
- Manage laboratory hygiene, strain preservation, and reagent/consumables inventory;
- Assist in providing technical training and guidance to internal staff;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of microbiological testing experience in a third-party testing laboratory or related industry;
- Familiar with standard microbiological testing methods and aseptic techniques;
- Experience in consumer product microbiological testing and antimicrobial effectiveness testing (including but not limited to USP 51/61/62) is preferred;
- Knowledge of CMA, CNAS, and other laboratory accreditation requirements is preferred;
- Good data handling skills and a rigorous work attitude;
- Strong team spirit, proactive, and responsible;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, with good problem-solving skills;
- Good command of both Chinese and English (able to read English standards and write reports in English).
