Lamination Operator
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Lamination Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will work with precision components used in sensor manufacturing, applying strain gages and laminated materials to meet exact engineering and quality standards. What You’ll Do
• Prepare workstations with the correct tools, fixtures, and materials according to process and assembly drawings
• Apply strain gages and laminated materials to sensor components with a high level of precision
• Perform detailed visual inspections before and after curing, including inspection under microscopes or magnification lamps
• Inspect strain gages using backlighting prior to installation
• Prepare and clean sensor surfaces before, during, and after the lamination process
• Apply adhesives and assemble fixtures following defined process instructions
• Operate lamination ovens and software to run cure cycles and review post-process data
• Perform resistance measurements using digital measurement equipment when required
• Accurately document work and inspection results in the MES system
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S standards
• Meet established process times while maintaining strict quality standards
• Minimize rework by following best practices and quality guidelines
Work Schedule & Shifts
• First Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
• Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
