LAN & WAN design is limited to the following, as applicable:

Physical connectivity
Spanning-tree
IP addressing
VLAN schema
Routing protocol
HSRP/GLBP
QoS (existing Client configuration standard)
Network management requirements
Security requirements

Nexus switch design is limited to the following, as applicable:

Virtual device context (Nexus 7000 only)
VRFs (Nexus 7000 only)
Virtual port channel (VPC)
VLAN
QoS (existing Client configuration standard)
HSRP/GLBP
Routing (EIGRP,RIP,IGRP and BGP)
