Summary

A Land Surveyor plans and executes site surveys, sets out control points, and maintains accurate measurements for construction projects using Total Stations, GPS, and levelling instruments.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to support our construction projects. The successful candidate will beresponsible for carrying out surveying works, setting out survey points,ensuring accurate site measurements, and providing surveying support throughoutthe project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and plan all site surveying activities.
  • Establish survey control points, benchmarks, and site levels.
  • Plan and coordinate daily surveying operations to support construction progress.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GPS equipment, and levelling instruments.
  • Prepare and verify setting-out works for construction activities.
  • Assist the project team in producing shop drawings, as-built survey drawings, and other survey-related documentation.
  • Ensure all survey measurements are accurate, timely, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys as part of quality control and project compliance.
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on surveying matters.
  • Resolve site surveying issues and provide technical support to project teams.
  • Maintain proper survey records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Must be a registered member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV).
  • Proficient in the use of Total Stations, GPS surveying equipment, levelling instruments, and relevant surveying software.
  • Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, construction drawings, and setting-out procedures.
  • Able to interpret engineering and construction drawings accurately.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment
