The Landscape Architect serves as a technical specialist for the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii, providing professional advice on land management, landscape planning, and urban forestry. The role also involves acting as a Project Engineer for military construction and maintenance projects.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year-round including surfing, fishing, and hiking.

Serve as the expert and resident technical specialist in Landscape Architect, Project Engineer, and Arborist for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), United States Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI).

Provide highly technical professional advice and consultant services concerning land management, landscape planning, environmental beautification, agronomy, urban forestry management, soil stabilization and erosion management.

Provide highly technical professional advice and consultant services concerning grounds maintenance policies, planning, design, and preservation of scenic, historic, and aesthetic resources.

Perform as a Project Engineer for Military Construction (MILCON), Restoration and Modernization and Sustainment, Repair and Maintenance (SRM) projects.
