Landscape Construction Foreman - Installation
Green View is a family-owned landscaping company in Central Illinois, running since 1955. We're hiring a Foreman to lead crews on landscape installation jobs grading, patios, walls, and plantings on homes and businesses.
What you'll do:
- Lead your crew on installs: grading, excavation, pavers, retaining walls, and plantings
- Read blueprints and plan out materials, equipment, and project phases
- Run heavy equipment skid steers, dingo, excavators, paver vacuums, saws
- Talk with clients on-site and adjust plans in the field as needed
- Make sure your crew has what they need to get the job done
- Train new team members and enforce safety on-site
- Track materials, paperwork, and schedules
- Help with snow removal in winter
What you need:
- At least 3 years in landscape installation pavers, retaining walls, grading, plantings
- Strong leadership skills, comfortable teaching others while staying hands-on
- Class C license (or willing to get one); CDL a plus
- Confident reading blueprints and planning site layout
- Sharp eye for detail and clean, professional work
- Strong communication with your team, clients, and consultants
- Able to lift 80 lbs and work outside in all weather
