Your Opportunity

As a Landscape Designer, you will work in a team environment in the planning and design of parks and recreation facilities; bicycle, pedestrian, and multiuse trails; sports and athletic facilities; healthcare, corporate, and educational campuses; as well as master planned communities including mixed-use and transit-oriented developments.

You will work with senior landscape architects as part of a multi-disciplinary design team including planners and civil engineers on a wide variety of projects. You will work with direct supervision and general direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Landscape Architect /Designer.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with Senior Landscape Architects in concept design development, detail design services, contract document preparation and undertaking various field services such as site inventories and construction inspection and reports
• Prepare construction documents, using AutoCAD, including layout plans, planting plans, grading plans, design details, construction detailing, cost estimates and specifications
• Prepare presentations, marketing drawings and supporting materials
• Prepare presentation graphics, reports and exhibits for conceptual designs, master plans, client meetings, and workshops
• Assist the design team on a variety of design and development related projects, undertaking research and design-based development investigations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members on relevant aspects of projects
• Support construction administration on projects by attending site visits and/or construction meetings and assisting in preparing sketches or drawing revisions
• Perform due diligence and research on projects as required to provide the background information to start new projects
