Pay Range: $30.00 – $33.00 hourly DOE
Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Fridays as req.

North County Landscape Co. is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Manager to lead our Mow and Bed Maintenance teams. This field-focused position combines crew leadership, hands-on knowledge, production oversight, service quality, and client relationship support.
The Maintenance Manager reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with our office-based Maintenance Coordinator and sales team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily field production for multiple Mow and Bed Maintenance crews.
  • Ensure crews are prepared, trained, supported, and accountable for completing work safely, efficiently, and to our 5-star quality standards.
  • Monitor crew progress and coordinate route adjustments when needed.
  • Maintain a strong field presence and positive culture through property visits, work inspections, working alongside, and real-time coaching.
  • Use Aspire data to monitor production KPIs, review work-ticket times, report results, and improve performance.
  • Conduct scheduled Site Audits to assess property condition, identify service deficiencies, and recognize opportunities for enhancements or additional services that would improve the property.
  • Engage professionally with clients, address field-related concerns, and support client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead employee onboarding, training, development, and performance accountability.
  • Promote company safety standards and assist with field production when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of landscape maintenance experience, including mowing, bed maintenance, pruning, and trimming.
  • Three or more years of supervisory, Crew Lead, project-management, or comparable leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants, horticultural care, and turf care.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold multiple crews accountable.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and professional communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Outlook, cloud-based applications, and mobile technology.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to safely tow landscape trailers.
  • Horticultural certification and Spanish-speaking skills are preferred.
