Landscape Maintenance Team Member
Position Summary
Rine Landscape Group is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Team Member to assist with the care and improvement of residential properties. Working under the direction of a Team Leader, this position performs mowing and lawn care, weeding, pruning, plant installation and care, material movement, and other landscape maintenance tasks.
The Team Member may also assist with small-scale landscape enhancements and minor hardscape installation as assigned. This position requires attention to detail, safe work practices, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Landscape Maintenance and Plant Care
-
Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, weeding, pruning, and other routine lawn and landscape maintenance activities.

Complete horticultural tasks that support attractive landscapes and healthy plant material.

Assist with perennial care, weed control, plant installation, soil amendments, and ongoing plant care.

Assist with lawn grading, seed installation, and sod installation.

Follow established landscape maintenance procedures and company quality standards.
Materials and Installation

Move plants, soil, mulch, stone, and other materials throughout job sites using wheelbarrows, ball carts, tarps, and other tools.

Use hand tools, including shovels, picks, and rakes, to dig holes, prepare planting areas, grade lawns, and assist with landscape installation.

Assist with small-scale landscape enhancement projects and minor hardscape installation, including concrete pavers, natural stone pavement, retaining walls, and other elements as assigned.

Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
Equipment and Job-Site Care

Safely operate and maintain assigned lawn and landscape maintenance equipment.

Promptly notify the Team Leader of equipment damage, malfunctions, or repair needs.

Maintain clean and organized equipment and job sites.

Complete job-site cleanup and final walkthroughs to confirm assigned work is complete.

Account for company tools and equipment assigned to the team.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Winter Operations

Participate in snow removal operations and safely operate assigned snow removal equipment during the winter months.
Required Qualifications

Ability to understand written work instructions and complete required documentation

Ability to listen to instructions and complete assigned work

Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team

Reliable transportation to and from the company shop

Ability to complete the company’s pre-employment screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications
-
One (1) year of professional landscape maintenance or installation experience

Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, including pruning, weed control, lawn maintenance, plant installation, and minor hardscape installation
-
Experience safely operating lawn and landscape maintenance equipment
-
Experience using common landscape hand tools

Physical and Work Requirements
