Language Translator
About the role:
We are seeking a skilled language translator to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for translating and localizing a variety of written and verbal content between Arabic and English, ensuring cultural nuance and technical accuracy. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality translations that resonate with regional audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Translate and proofread documents, websites, software interfaces, and marketing materials between Arabic and English
- Apply localization best practices to adapt content for Saudi and regional audiences
- Use CAT tools to manage translation memories, glossaries, and terminology databases
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and cultural relevance in all translations
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet deadlines and project requirements
- Perform quality checks and revise translations based on feedback
Required qualifications:
- 2–7 years of professional translation experience
- Fluency in Arabic and English, with proven translation proficiency
- Strong expertise in localization methodologies and practices
- Proficient in CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to translation quality
- Deep understanding of Saudi cultural norms and regional nuances
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Certification from recognized translation organizations (e.g., ATA)
- Experience translating technical, legal, or marketing content
- Familiarity with terminology management and quality assurance tools
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment
